IMPORTANT: Commission adopts new transparency measures

On 4 December 2024, the Commission adopted two decisions which will apply from 1 January 2025. These extend the requirements of the Transparency Register to all Commission staff holding management functions as regards their meetings with interest representatives. Interest representatives should be aware that they will not be able to meet Members of the Commission, members of their Cabinet or Commission staff holding management functions, including Directors-General, Directors and Heads of Unit of the Commission, unless they are registered. To further enhance the transparency of its decision-making process, the Commission will make public information on all meetings covered by these decisions, as well as minutes of such meetings.
